Recap Today’s meet vs SCCA

I’ll try to make this NOT  a long novel

-Huge thank you to all parents who helped out today:  We can not have swim meets,  let alone successful meets,  with out you:   I had 3 families from SCCA tell me how impressed they were in how well the meet was run:  Big shout out to Emily Land who was our starter (first time) and did so well in keeping things moving and brought humor to the meet:

-Done by 11:30!  Record time for having 140 swimmers!

-Swimmers: always proud of them:  Today they were ALL so very impressive:  Fast swims, great teamwork, all rose to the challenge:   For example, for the IM we had 22 swimmers swim (6 were 8 unders).   SCCA had 3 IM swimmers:  IM is the hardest race and our kids showed so much GRIT:  Special shout out to Dominick B (11 age) who swam the 400 free and all stayed to cheer him on: That is what summer swimming is all about!

I did NOT cry:  allergies were bad! Ha

-Meet results and ribbons look for on Monday:  Willow Springs ribbons?  hopefully by Tuesday

-MONDAY:  NO 6:50-8am practice: 3 Meets in 7 days has been touch on all:  older kids need some rest:  They are welcomed to swim in the middle session if they want:   7:50-8:50am:  middle and last session are as normally scheduled:

-Next Meet at Parkwood:  June 26th

Stay hydrated and enjoy your weekend
