HH Swim team Families 

CITY MEET:  Friday and Saturday were both long, loud and hot days!   HH kids rose to the challenge.  All 68 swimmers deserve to be MVP:  we only had one scratch (swimmer who did not swim) :  no one missed their races!   A  few Swimmers (Sydney F and Maddy R) swam doubles.  Fin L (shoulder), Will M (arm) and Lilly W ( cut her leg on the starting block) swam great for not being at 100%.  Loved seeing swimmers come on their day off to cheer on teammates and siblings:   Thank you to parents Katie L, Kim S, Magdel C, Mary P, Dan M and Emily L for all volunteering:  Thank you Wilma N, NatalieB and swimmer Raina F for marking kids arms Saturday and getting our kids to the heating area:   Too many highlights to mention for 84 events!   HH swimmers had an 43% improvement of races/times !  We had relays who were behind and caught up, which made for exciting races:   One of the many standouts was our Girls 8 under:  25 breaststroke:   Out of 45 swimmers. We had 3 finish in the top 6!  Lucy (3rd), Zoe M (4th) Maddy R (6th) amazing: 

CONGRATULATIONS to Luke Jacobson:  State Qualified Boys 13-14. In 100 Fly. 1:17: Making HH with 11 swimmers qualified for STATE.  

RESULTS FOR FRIDAY AND SATURDAY ARE ATTACHED:   11 and Older:  HH was 4th over all on Friday out of 18 teams.  Saturday Swimmers 10 and under: HH was 1st overall out of 18 teams!  

OVERALL HH was 3rd in total points!   THANK YOU all parents who allowed your swimmer to take part in City Meet:  all the moms who asked how they could help out:   Nelson Farms was 1st.  SCCA barely beat  us for 2nd place.  Coach Jordi, coach Lauryn and coach Jerry could not be more proud of all 68 swimmers and their parents!  

TEAM PARTY:   This Thursday night.  5-8pm. I hope if your in town you can join the fun:  HH has the best end of season party in the state!!   City Meet awards are given out after dinner.  We recognize all swimmers.  We send off our state swimmers and give out a few special awards including the annual Heather Keaton award. 

Last Thursday:  last practice. We thank Summer F for getting over 100 donuts from LeMars and Nicole K for bringing  the water spray machine to cool the swimmers down:   All swimmers got a box of Swedish Fish, as well.  

STATE SWIM PRACTICE.  M-Thursday 7-8am. All ages  all swimmers going to Golden
