HH Swim Families 

A busy week with our DQ cake party and an away meet at Westfield (with Maple Hill and STetson Creek) and our City Meet this coming FRIDAY 

THANK YOU Rachel M and Nicole K for making the DQ party so much fun. Close to 60 kids served ice cream/cake with practice on starts and turns 

TODAY AT WESTFIELD:  done at 11:30am!! Great meet!!

 meet results are attached.  40% of ALL races, improved times.  

CONGRATULATIONS TO RYAN Z for joining the State Team with a time of 1:10 in the boys 15-16 backstroke.  We now have 20 swimmers qualified for Denver:   State races added are Harry J (50 fly-took 6 sec off)  JackW 100Fly, Harrison S and OliverW (200IM) and AidenW 400 Free.   

FINAL WEEK (unless swimming at State championships:   
TUESDAY JULY 18th. DEADLINE 10am for CITY MEET (swimmers 4 individual events)

THURSDAY July  20th. Spaghetti Dinner at HH pool for those attending City Meet: serving at 5:30pm.  

CITY MEET PACKET ATTACHED 

FRIDAY AT PARKWOOD. OUR CITY MEET HOST.  GOAL IS 72 swimmers.   We need 8 volunteers:   Thank you to those who are already signed up.  Warm Up 7-7:30am (my best guess) 

CITY MEET FEE. $12 total per swimmer. Venmo.    
4 individual events:  strongly recommend, suggest (not begging but close) swimmers pick an event not popular. Ie.  Fly, IM, 100 Free (8 unders) and 200 and 400 Free.  
TODAY as an example: Total 8 unders had 10 kids swimming the individual Medley (IM).  We, HH had 7 of those 10 racers. Picking an event with less swimmers gives us a better shot at adding points:   We normally always do an excellent job in this strategy and need to see it again this Friday at Parkwood:
