STATE SWIMMERS/FAMILIES 

A few housekeeping items 

This week  Is a taper week  meaning much less distance in a workout  main goal is rest and have the mind and body ready for a big meet   I shared with the swimmers a research study by Stanford University  sleep and rest has a positive impact on swimmers for race da! So Sleep, drink water  eat clean and rest!!  GOAL  STATE is the cherry on top  the bonus for all the hard work your swimmer has done:  it’s super compatible, a lot of fun and a well run  3 days swim meet :  we will have one or two team tents for all to gather under  

Practice Wednesday (tomorrow) 7-8am and 8-8:50am NO practice Thursday and Friday all 27 swimmers. 7-8am work on relays. Group picture.

Payment:   State meet fees have increased and our team going to state has gone from one swimmer (7 summers ago) to 27 this coming weekend:  HH team is looking at a $800 total fee for STATE:   We are asking families with swimmers who qualified to pay the fee for individual races   The fee for an individual race is $8 for one race/ $16 for two and $24 for 3 individual events

  HH team will pay the athlete entrance fee ($9 per swimmer) , all relay fees $12.00 per relay and the teams annual fee ($45).  We appreciate your understanding and support:    The fee we are requesting per swimmer /per event is optional:  All money received is greatly appreciated   Fees can be Venmo to our HH account  

I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow  at our pool awards party 

4:30-5:30pm. kids have a blast in the pool 

5:30-6:30 dinner  

6:30-7:30   Awards  acknowledgement of all swimmers: possibly a gift for those 20 qualified state swimmers 

7:30-8pm  more fun in the pool
