HH Swim families 

First full week /  4 days of practice and a swim meet !

We focused on drills and technique,  along with starts and turns 

GREY Rock Fundraiser 6/2 . We had over 40 people enjoying a meal and we raised over $250.  Tomorrow: Monday at Huckabuks Hideway 3541 East Harmony. 10% of all sales. 5-8pm.   Big thank you to Nicole Kidd for organizing our first ever bake sale and parents who made delicious items to be sold . Huge success:  ***** For those not aware.
****HH swim team is on its own this summer. Meaning no management pool (Splash or AB) companies to provide coaches and insurance. This why fundraising is as important as ever!  BTW we are all thankful to HH swim Board ( Rick F, Nicole K, Matt S and a HUGE thank you to Abby Wilson for fighting the fight to get the HoA to allow a swim team). 

JUNE 7th intersquad meet. 63 swimmers participated. THANK YOU ALL PARENTS WHO HELPED OUT.  Shout out to John Land our starter, Matt S for PA system and Rick F for computer logistics.   VIP. All new swimmers (15 total) who swam at their very first swim meet.  SUPER VIP  the 9 kiddos  all 8 under who same the 100IM with only 4 days of practice !!!! They were super brave and inspiring  

MEET AT WESTFIELD. 6/14 (four teams).   Entries are due earlier than normal.  Wednesday by 8pm.  We have to send them to Westfiled by Thursday am. Kids can swim 3 individual races. Coaches will get each kid on at least one relay:  meet starts at 8am.  Done by ?? Guessing 12 noon.  If your swimmer needs to leave early please make a note of it in comments.  Since we are NOT hosting we can not make any late adds to the meet. So please have your entities completed by Wednesday 8PM.   You pick your kids individual events. Coaches will select the relays.  At Westfield. We need ALL swimmer to be seated close together by our team tent.  This makes getting kids ready to go to the heating area much easier.  Will let all know warm up time asap.  I’m assuming 7:15am for entire team.  6 lane pool.
